Photography Final
The last couple of photography club meetings were spend selling and delivering calendars. I think that I played a really important part in this as I went around during both activity block and lunch all over the school to sell, deliver or collect money for the calendars. I felt that the role I played in selling the calendar was very important when looking at the success we achieved in selling it due to the fact that I contributed my own time in it.
Swim Team Update
By the end of the year, I had achieved my goal. My freestyle time had significantly improved via consistent practice. I did this by having one on one practice time with the coach in which we went through the specifics of the stroke. I felt that this really helped my improve and was one of the main reasons behind my success.
Due to fact that I had achieved my goal, I decided to discontinue the sport in the second semester and pick up other activities such as Model United Nations(MUN).

Shangalia Update
I attended this club every week in the first semester. During this time, I took charge of teaching maths to the kids. In order to effectively teach the children, I used the textbook that their regular teachers follow in their normal classes. A challenge that I faced in doing this is that most of the children were not as interested in learning math as they were in doing the other available activities. This mean that the children that I ended up teaching were the ones that did not have math as their first choice resulting in them being disinterested in the subject. I overcame this challenge by going to children that were not working individually and specifically teaching them the subject the I was going over. I think that this helped them learn as they were forced to learn due to the fact that I was right next to them teaching them.
Another problem that I had to overcome was the different skill levels of the different children. Some of the kids were younger and therefore were not as far along the book as the older kids. This meant that I had to effectively divide my time in teaching sections in the book that were appropriate to both ages of student. I think that I managed to do this, as at the end of the classes. both age categories of children were able to achieve success when tested on the material.

Photography Update
Throughout the year, I have been attending photography club meeting every tuesday. In these meeting, i have talked about my photos that I sent for the critiques as well as the photos of others. I think that overall, my photo-taking skills have significantly increased compared to the level they were at the start of the year.
Also, we made a calendar towards the end of the year in which each member put a couple of their best pictures.

Physical Activity - Swim Team
During the first semester, I was a part of the ISK Swim Team. I attended this club 2-3 times a week, usually on Mondays, Tuesday and/or Thursdays. My main goal for this club was to improve my times in the stroke, freestyle. This was because I have been a member of the club for the past several years, and I have concentrated on competition and such rather than the actual stroke. Therefore my goal this time around was to focus solely on the stroke.
This club also is part of the physical recreations portion of presidents award.

Service Activity - Shangalia
For the service potion of CASL, I went to the Shangalia School during the first semester. This was a wednesday after school activity and its purpose was to interact with the kids at the school. We planned activities like working with computers, music, math, etc prior to going there and worked with the kids on them.
I personally took charge of teaching math to the older kids as it be suited my abilities. This club was also part of the my service requirement for presidents award.
